BEAST: A Mafia Romance Read online

  Lightheaded with horniness.

I'd do anything to have him inside me.

  "Please, Gleb. Please fuck me."

"Music to my ears," his voice rasps.

He flips me over, pulls down his briefs and straddles me again. His monster cock is at full-mast, the ring of his Price Albert glinting at its tip. I feel my pussy clench and ache for him... ache with desire.

One hand is back between my legs, the other fists his shaft. He spreads my thighs with his fingers. "Open wide for me."

  I do as he asks.

  "Good girl."

He rubs his cock against my slit, teasing me, making me wetter and wetter for him. "Beg me again, Eva."

"Jesus, stop torturing me. Just get on with it, will you," I grit out.

He pulls away and fixes me with a fierce look. "Beg properly."

"Please, Gleb, please do it," I sob. "Please fuck me."

He smiles a smile of such victory it burns my soul. Then he lowers himself onto me, covering me like a blanket, biting and sucking on my neck.

I moan and writhe my hips, my body joining in the begging spree.

  I've lost the battle.

It was never mine to win.

I'm an addict as far as he is concerned.

He kisses me, a punishing kiss that takes all the air from my lungs. His tongue seeks my tongue, fights it for dominance. His eyes lock with my own as he leans his weight on his arms. "You belong to me, Elousha."

And with those words he starts pushing his cock into me. I moan as the ridge of his piercing rubs against my pussy walls. I let out a strange feral sound as I feel every goddamn inch of him.

He doesn't ask if I'm okay, he doesn't need to.

I'm responding to him like a finely tuned instrument.

  His instrument.

I dig my nails into his broad back as he pumps in and out of me, our bodies slapping against each other. I hiss out a breath with every brutal thrust; my cunt is taking him in, sucking his beast of a dick deeper and deeper.

"God, you feel good, Elousha," he groans. "So fucking good."

"You do too," I smile into his shoulder, loving every exquisite sensation he's giving me, how he's stretching me and making all my nerve endings tingle.

I never want it to end.

  But end it must.

An orgasm is rushing toward me like an unstoppable train.

I come, violently, jerking beneath him and biting my lips to stop myself from crying out his name.

"You're so fucking beautiful when you climax." He pumps harder, so hard he starts to lose his shit. I feel him swelling even more, and then filling me with his cum.

Still inside me, he rests his forehead on mine. Our sweat mingles, his breath becomes my breath, our hearts beat as one. We kiss, more gently than before. He runs his fingers up and down my sides and stares deep into my eyes, appearing about to say something... something he might later regret.

I'm suddenly vulnerable and want the Beast back again. Want his harshness to drive a wedge between us and keep me at a distance.

This softer Gleb is even more dangerous.

  Dangerous to my equilibrium.

  Dangerous to my fragile heart.

He's a Vor who let my father sell me to him, I remind myself. Even though he morphs into every girl's dream of a perfect daddy to her baby when he's with Kir, I shouldn't have let this transformation get in the way of my resolve.

With a grunt Gleb withdraws and flops down on the rug. We lie next to each other, silently listening to the soft sounds of Kir's breathing coming over the airwaves of the monitor while the warmth from the fire dries the sweat from our glistening bodies.

I wriggle to my feet and reach for my clothes. I dress quickly, not making eye contact with Gleb. Except I sense his gaze on me, scorching. "Where are you going?" His voice is harsh.

"To my bedroom, of course," I retort. "Where did you think I was going?"

His glowering expression grips my insides, twisting them into knots. I'm falling for him. Correction. I've fallen for him already. A sensation not unlike I imagine drowning would feel.

  Sinking.

  Spiraling down into the depths.

  Breathe, Eva, I tell myself.

  Just breathe.

He laughs, and it's an unforgiving laugh. "No, Kiska, we do not sleep apart. I want you in my bed. Is that understood?"

  I don't answer.

  I can't.

My pulse is beating too fiercely in my throat.

  Fifteen

  Gleb

The engines of Cessna private jet I chartered are making a low whooshing sound. We're half-way into the three and a half hours flying time to Denver. I stare at the seat opposite. Empty. My kitten should be sitting there, but she's been occupied with her mom since we took off. They're both in the restroom, have been for the past hour or so. Apparently, Ludmila is so fucking terrified she's puking her guts out. I'm starting to wish I'd left her behind in Fairwood; she's about as much help as a wet rag in a thunderstorm.

I flick through The New York Times on my tablet, then turn my gaze to Yuri on the other end of the aisle. I can't resist smiling. Kir is sitting in his lap, and Yuri is talking to him, showing him the animal pictures in a book Eva brought on board. My cute little boy is turning even my hardest boyevik to soft mushy goo...

I roll back my shoulders and close my eyes. Try and get some shuteye, Gleb. Except, I can't stop thinking about Eva, can't stop thinking about how perfect it is to have her in my bed at night, how damn good it feels when I thrust into her, my cock battering the entrance to her womb while I unload deep inside.

Her total submission while I fuck her is mind-blowing. But I'm not just hooked on her tight little body. Elousha is special. So fucking special I'm finding it difficult to remain detached. Sweet but also feisty... a sexy spitfire. She's under my skin, like it says in the song, deep in the heart of me... the heart I've kept frozen to women all my life. I scrub a hand over my face and my belly twists into knots. It would be wrong to tie Eva to my side, even if she wanted it. And how can I be a good father to Kir?

  I'm bad.

  Fucked up.

  I've done sadistic, vicious things.

And I'll do even worse before this sorry situation with Vadim is over.

I rub at the middle of my forehead and close my eyes again. The rhythmic hum of the jet's engines lulls me, and I fall into a restless sleep.

The stench of piss fills my nostrils.

The motherfucker Russian, one of the bastards who killed my parents, is strapped to a chair in the cellar of my safe house in London. Sweat beads the man's upper lip and his pale eyes are white with fear.

Tom, my bodyguard, stands next to me. "You want me to finish him off, Boss?"

  "No," I growl. "He's mine."

Heart hammering, I raise my gun, squeeze the trigger and shoot the bastard between the eyes.

  Neatly ... just like that.

  My first kill.

Blood fills my vision and I scrub at the blood on my hands. I'd tortured the Russian with a knife, cutting off his fingers before killing him. He'd finally given me the names of the others implicated in the murder of my parents, thinking I would spare him. Ha!

I killed those bastards next; they fully deserved to die. And vengeance was fucking sweet.

A voice is calling to me, echoing in my head. "Gleb, are you alright?" I feel a cool hand on my cheek and open my eyes. My kitten is bending over me. "You were having some sort of nightmare, I think."

I stare down at my hands. No blood there. Of course, not... I'd washed it off. "Recurring dream," I grunt, only half-awake.

She lowers herself into her seat. "Mama has stopped puking."

"Good." I glance over to where Ludmila is sitting, Kir in her lap. I feel the sudden urge to hold my son, but I tighten my fists instead.

The memory of that blood is still too fresh. It might taint him.

"Ladies and gentlemen," the pilot's voice comes over the audio system. "We s
hall be landing in Denver in twenty minutes. Local time is three p.m. and the temperature seventy-five degrees."

I stare at my nephew, plugged into his laptop playing computer games opposite Yuri. Daniel will be waiting at the airport to pick Brash up and take him home.

I furrow my brow. The safety of my family is paramount. Has been since I went after those bastards in London. Nothing like that train-wreck will ever happen again, not if I can help it.

I'll make fucking sure it won't.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please make sure your seat backs are in their full upright position and your seat belt is securely fastened," our flight attendant announces.

Ludmila starts praying aloud as we make our descent into Denver, and I release a groan.

Three hours after arriving in Colorado, I'm showing Eva around my Beaver Creek house. "Wow, this place is amazing," she says, staring through walls of glass and taking in the stunning mountain views. I lead her up the sweeping curved staircase to the master suite. Dmitry has already deposited our luggage in here, and she bends to unzip her suitcase. Her gorgeous butt, encased in tight blue jeans, is beyond tempting. I go to stand behind her and rub myself against her enticing ass cheeks. She straightens and leans against me, so I can squeeze her lovely tits. "So beautiful, Elousha," I whisper in her ear. "I can't wait to fuck you."

She turns in my hold and lifts a brow. "We'll need to wait until everyone's asleep."

"Ha, yeah," my laugh is sardonic. Eva's mom and Kir are sharing a room just down the corridor. Olga and Dmitry are next to them. Yuri has a room on the top floor. We'll be living cheek by jowl with everyone here, not like in Fairwood where my staff are accommodated in a separate building. Normally, I don't bring such a large entourage with me; usually it's just Yuri and me.

"Your brother seems nice," Eva says, interrupting my thoughts as she bends to unpack. "What did you tell him about us?"

"Not much," I chuckle. "He was curious about you, your mom and Kir when I introduced you, but I told him Brash would fill him in and he'd get to know you better when he and Catrin visit."

Eva's gaze meets mine, and she plays with a loose strand of her hair. "What's Daniel's wife like? I mean, I must be years younger than her..."

I wrap my arms around my kitten, walk her backwards until I can lower myself into an armchair and sit her in my lap. "You needn't worry about Catrin. She's easy-going. Did I tell you she writes erotic romances?"

That elicits a giggle. "Based on her experiences with your brother?!"

"How would I know?" I laugh. "Although one time I saw some kinky shit in their playroom."

Eva's eyes widen, and she shakes her head. "You Sokolovs are something else..."

"Daniel's surname is Collins now." I hear a sound coming from the corridor. "Remind me to tell you why that is when we don't stand a chance of being interrupted."

The door crashes open. "Mama, Papa," Kir runs into the room closely followed by Ludmila.

Eva wriggles to her feet and lifts our son. "Baba and I will make you some supper now, then get you ready for bed."

A sudden idea occurs to me... a way to have some privacy with Elousha. "Come out to dinner with me," I ask. "As soon as Kir is settled. I'll make reservations at the best restaurant in Beaver Creek."

I wait for her retort. Either she's tired. Or her mom needs her. But she simply nods her agreement. It's only when I'm standing under the shower an hour later that I realize I'd baited Eva with the promise of further information about Daniel. Strange how I feel I can trust my kitten. But I do. Call it a gut instinct, whatever. I tilt back my head and let the warm water stream down my neck.

I'm looking forward to taking her out tonight. It will be fun, and I can't remember the last time I took a beautiful girl on a date and enjoyed myself.

"You're looking stunning, my sweet." Eva is wearing the same halter neck dress she wore to Vadim's restaurant last week. I lean and brush a kiss to her pouty lips as we get into my new Mercedes GLS SUV. Big enough for my expanded entourage; I had it delivered to the airport, so I could pick it up when we arrived. Yuri is already behind the wheel, and we set off toward the town.

Eva smooths down her skirt. "This used to be Mama's from the time when she would compete in international ballroom dancing competitions. She was my size then."

Elousha's wardrobe needs replenishing, I realize. I lean toward her and fix her in my gaze. "How about I give you a credit card, and you can buy some new clothes?"

"You don't need to buy me anything, Gleb," she lifts her chin. "You've been more than generous."

"It would give me great pleasure." My neck muscles tighten. "I hope you will let me do this for you."

She blushes but doesn't say yes or no.

I'll take that as a yes, then.

Soon we arrive at the restaurant. La Maison is one of those classy French joints owned by an executive chef where the food never disappoints. Yuri has a table on his own but within reach of Eva and me. His loyalty to me in unquestionable; he deserves a treat.

I order the foie gras paté appetizer for all of us, followed by rack of lamb served with seasonal vegetables and orange soufflé for dessert. Eva sips from her glass of rich red wine as we wait for our first course. "Brash told me his surname was changed to Collins," she whispers, "but he didn't say why."

"Daniel was hiding from the mob." I take in a breath. "And from me."

She lets out a gasp. "Why?"

I twirl my wine flute and think about how much to reveal. "A Bratva known as the Brotherhood wanted to murder him and ended up killing his first wife, Brash's mom, by mistake."

"Oh, my God, how tragic," Eva's voice trembles.

"It was, especially as Daniel thought I had something to do with it." I shake my head.

Our waiter arrives with the paté and warm toast. He replenishes our wine glasses, then backs away.

"I guess you could call it a breakdown of communication," I continue. "Daniel got caught up in something and he had no clue he was stirring up a hornet's nest of trouble." I spread the foie gras on my toast and take a bite before chewing thoughtfully. "I was dealing with the fallout from my parents dying in a suspicious accident." I grimace. "When I'd cleared up that mess, my brother had already disappeared with Brash."

Eva reaches across the table and squeezes my fingers. "I'm so sorry for your loss. And for everything else that happened."

I shift in my seat and stare down at my hands. "Let's focus on something less depressing or we'll lose our appetites," I say gruffly.

Eva agrees, so we talk about Kir and how cute he was when we were bathing him earlier, how he wanted both of us to read him a bedtime story, how he's learning to speak new words every day. We manage to avoid any serious discussion until after we've had our dessert, when she comes out with a blunt question. "How did you get involved in organized crime, Gleb?"

I laugh at her forthrightness, but I should have expected it. Elousha is candid, for sure. "My father was what's known as an oligarch. He made billions after the fall of Communism and the break-up of the Soviet Union." My breathing slows at the memories take over. "Except he knew his funds wouldn't be safe in Russia, so we moved to London when I was eleven. Life was expensive there, especially if you live the high life like we did." I tap my spoon against my empty coffee cup. " He was approached by an old friend in Moscow, started laundering money for the mob."

"Jesus," Eva's fingers touch her parted lips.

I consider my words, a weighed-down sensation in my stomach. "He was out of his depth and sought my assistance. I'd been to Harvard, knew much more than him about how the international financial markets work. He'd lost a lot of the money the Vory had invested with him. I thought if I didn't help him, he'd be killed," I release a heavy sigh. "But it was too late. They got to him and Mama anyway."

Eva squeezes my fingers again. "That's terrible. Is that why you decided to come to the States?"

"A guy I met at Harvard made me an offer I couldn't refuse," I say and leave it a
t that. I've revealed enough to Eva already, and she hasn't said much about herself. "Are you still seeing your therapist?" I ask, recalling how she'd told me about her illness.

"Not anymore. I’m better," her tone is terse. She glances at me, a worried expression in her amber eyes. "Why do you ask?"

"No reason," I signal our waiter for the check. "Let's go for a stroll outside. I'm in need of a smoke."

I pay for our meal, then hold Eva's delicate fingers in mine. There's a hint of early fall in the cool night air as we make our way across the lawn in front of La Maison. I shrug off my suit jacket and drape it around her shoulders before lighting up a Davidoff.

Without warning, the hairs on my arms start to prickle.

A shadowy figure is running toward us.

  What the fuck?

Yuri lets out a sudden shout.

  Shit!

Every nerve in my body jangles.

"I've got this, Boss," Yuri bellows, setting off in hot pursuit.

The figure veers sharply into the trees on our right.

Cold sweat beads my upper lip.

I motion to Eva to stand behind me.

My entire world shifts, and I reach for my gun.

  Sixteen

  Eva

Everything happens so quickly I barely have time to react. My heart almost beats out of my chest as I hold back a scream.

"Don't make a sound, Elousha," Gleb whispers low in his throat.

I press myself against his back, gulping down breaths to stay quiet. I'm shaking so much I need to grab onto him for support.

The thud of footsteps echoes in my ears, and I nearly pee my panties.

I look behind me to see where I can run to. Except, before I can high-tail it out of here, Yuri calls out, "False alarm." He comes up, panting. "I followed the motherfucker. Turned out to be a fucking jogger."

Gleb releases a relieved laugh and holsters his firearm. "Thank fuck."

I stumble back a step, my legs wobbling. "You guys are something else," I snap, rolling my eyes. "Aren't you over reacting?"
